What is Everwell?

Everwell is a membership-based community + multi-purpose work space with curated programming that supports + inspires women. 

Where is Everwell located?

Everwell’s first location opened in October, 2019 in downtown Darien, CT at 19 Old Kings Highway South, Suite 310. Everwell’s thriving digital community is accessible to anyone, anywhere with our Circle Membership.

What are Everwell's hours?

Everwell’s operating hours are:

M-F  9am – 5pm

*Everwell is also available for room bookings and space rental after hours and on weekends. See below.

Is Everwell closed on holidays?

Yes. Everwell observes federal holidays, as well as a few other days. Below is the confirmed list of 2020 and 2021 closures.

Why should I become a member?

An Everwell Membership is about giving yourself permission to explore. We are a community that comes together in meaningful ways so that each member can grow both personally + professionally. We are a community that values, respects and celebrates each other. A membership to Everwell is an investment in yourself.

Is there a commitment for membership?

Membership to Everwell can be either an annual or short-term commitment. Check out our Membership Page.

What is the application process?

By clicking on Apply Now, one is directed to the application, which asks for basic info, membership preferences, and some additional questions about how the applicant intends to be part of the community and use the space (for Key Members). Once the application is submitted, the applicant can expect to be contacted by Everwell within a reasonable amount of time, depending on the density of the current application pool. We assure you, we will get back to you just as fast as we are able. If current Key Membership is at a comfortable capacity, applicants will be informed of their waitlist status.

Why is there an application process?

We care deeply about honoring a community with shared core values (see “What are Everwell’s Core Values?” below), and the application process protects the membership in this way.

Must one identify as a woman to apply for membership?

As RBG reminds us, history has shown that gender discrimination benefits no one. Membership at Everwell is open to any human whose core values align with those of Everwell. All members should expect that our programming focuses on the female experience.

Is there an age requirement for membership?

One must be at least 21 years old to apply for membership.

How long is the waitlist?

For Key Memberships, Everwell’s Darien location has a comfortable capacity and we are committed to ensuring that members do not feel crowded in the open workspace. Applicants on the waitlist will be contacted when memberships become available for the hours they plan to use the space.

Is there an application fee?

There is a one-time non-refundable application fee: $25 for Key Membership applicants, $5 for Circle Membership applicants.

What are the membership fees?

Can you provide me with materials that I may give to my employer for reimbursement?

Yes. Please reach out via connect@theeverwell.com with your specific request, and we will email you a PDF that you may forward to your employer, which you can also find here

How do I pay for my membership?

Once you become a member, we will set your credit card up on an automatic recurring payment program. For annual Key Memberships, members can elect to pay monthly or up front annually at a 10% discounted rate. Short-Term Key Memberships require an up-front one-time payment. For annual Circle Memberships, members can elect to pay monthly or up front annually and receive a complimentary month of membership.

Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for my membership?

Unfortunately, membership at Everwell is not covered on the IRS’s list of eligible items that one may pay for with HSA funds. Please contact your insurance company for additional information.

What amenities do I receive as a member?

Are there any special membership perks?

Yes. We collaborate with several local businesses to provide our KEY members with special offers and discounts as part of their membership. Click here for a full overview of our member + partnership PERKS. 

What's the noise environment at Everwell?

Everwell has a palpable positive and creative energy within its walls–the noise level is somewhere between the quiet of the library and the hum of your favorite coffee shop. Connection and low-level conversations are an expected part of the environment, but members are entirely aware of the work flow of fellow members by respectfully not interrupting others who are at work and keeping their conversational volume low. 

What about cell phone usage in the workspace?

We understand that phones have become an essential part of getting our work done and orchestrating life. In the open workspace, you are welcome to accept a quick call as long as you respect fellow members by keeping your volume low. If you need to make a call, you are welcome to use our designated phone booths, the outdoor terrace, the main entrance of the building or the outdoor entryway of the building. The design of Everwell’s open-concept workspace is not ideally suited for phone-intensive work.  If one has phone intensive-work, we recommend opting for a Private Office Package.

Are tours available?

Yes! We offer guided tours upon request. Please contact us at connect@theeverwell.com to schedule your tour.

Is there a trial period to try Everwell's workspace?

Unfortunately, we do not offer trial periods for Everwell memberships. But we offer a Complimentary Day Pass to anyone considering membership. We also offer packages of Day Passes for anyone needing a short-term option. Read more on our Membership Page. 

Are day passes available?

Day Passes are available to non-members to purchase for $55/day. Members may purchase a day pass for $45/day.

Are hourly passes available?

Hourly Passes are available for members and their guests to purchase for $20/hour. Hourly Passes are not available for non-members, unless invited as a guest to Everwell. See additional details below.

As a member, can I invite a guest to Everwell?

Yes! Members are welcome to invite guests to their meetings or gatherings in reserved spaces at no additional fee for the duration of your meeting room or space rental reservation. All visitors must sign in with the front desk. The hourly rate for guests in the open workspace during operating hours is $20/hour.

Can I bring my kids to Everwell's workspace?

We love children, but Everwell is a space for grown ups. 

Are pets allowed at Everwell's workspace?

We also love animals. Certified service animals are allowed in the space. Otherwise, however, animals are not permitted at Everwell.

Do unused monthly hours from a Key membership roll over to the next month?

No.

Can I pause my membership?

Although we wish we could accommodate this request, memberships cannot be paused. In the case of a dramatic personal circumstance, please contact us to discuss options.

Must I be a member to book the meeting and conference rooms?

Yes. There are nine reservable spaces within Everwell, and members (at all membership levels) have the exclusive ability to reserve the meeting and conference rooms, phone booths, front lounge, living room and outdoor terrace.

How do I reserve a room or gathering space?

*Due to COVID-19, some rates and seating capacity have temporarily changed. Please email connect@theeverwell.com for specifics.

Members have access to a shared electronic calendar to reserve gathering spaces and can easily make reservations with a few clicks. Members can find booking directions here. Specifics for each space:

 

Phone Booth: $12/hour, seats 1. Available to book during operating hours, in 15 minute increments for up to 1 hour per day. (Please note: there are two additional non-reservable and complimentary phone booths at Everwell for spontaneous calls.)

 

Large Conference Room: $55/hour, seats 8-10.

Available to book during operating hours (for up to 3 hours per day) and upon request on select evenings and weekends.

 

Small Conference Room: $35/hour, seats 4. Available to book during operating hours for up to 3 hours per day.

 

The Lounge and The Living Room: $45/hour, each seat 10.

Available to book upon request on select evenings and weekends.

 

Private Office (2): Annual Members: $65/half day*, Short-Term Members: $75/half day**, seat 1.

Available to book by the half day (Morning Block: 9am-12:45pm, Afternoon Block: 1:15 – 5:00pm , Full Day: 9am – 5 pm).

*Discounted Private Office Package available for Annual Members.

Can I rent the full Everwell space for a private meeting or gathering?

Yes. Everwell’s entire 3,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space is available for events on select evenings and weekends and may be reserved by members and non-members. Members receive a discounted rate. To inquire about booking, please email connect@theeverwell.com

Do I have to be a member to attend an Everwell event or workshop?

No. We welcome you to enroll in any Everwell program that speaks to you! All programs + events listed on our website are open to anyone, near and far. Registration is required, as space is limited.

What if I can't attend a program that I registered for?

Once you register for a program, a space is reserved for you, so please mark your calendar and plan to attend. For programs with a fee, your credit card will be charged upon registration. Most programs and events are recorded and are sent to any registered participants who are unable to make the live session. However, if you must cancel your registration and do so more than a week in advance of the program or event, you will receive a full refund. Because all of our facilitators must be compensated for their work, unfortunately there are no refunds for last minute cancellations. We recommend reaching out directly to your program’s facilitator if you have to miss a session, so that you may work together to receive all necessary information.

How can I be considered to lead a program or workshop at Everwell?

There is a wealth of expertise, wisdom, passion and skill within our Everwell community and beyond that ought to become inspirational and/or educational opportunities for the rest of us! We are always looking to enhance our programming calendar, so we encourage you to reach out to us if you’re interested in leading an engaging and relevant program through Everwell’s programming platform. All programs are decided upon and approved by our in-house Programming Team. If you would like to be considered to lead a program, please introduce yourself and your program idea to us via email at connect@theeverwell.com. Members and non-members, local and remote, are welcome to propose a program idea.

Can Everwell help me plan my program?

Yes. A member of the Everwell team is available for one-on-one consulting + coaching for your program + curriculum design for $150/hr.

Can Everwell help me plan my private event?

Reserving space at Everwell assumes that you will take full responsibility for all content, catering, rental services and communication about the event. Likewise, you will be expected to plan your event within the terms and conditions of Everwell Private Events. We will have the space ready for your event and move furniture accordingly. We can provide you with a list of recommended caterers. If you would like to hire someone from Everwell to help you plan your program or event, a $150/hour consultant fee will apply. How do I cancel my membership?

All memberships are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing by Everwell.  

Annual Circle, Flex, Flex Plus, and Unlimited memberships are an annual commitment.  Annual memberships will automatically renew annually, unless a cancellation request has been submitted to connect@theeverwell.com at least 30 days prior to the renewal date.

Monthly Circle Membership and the Short-Term Unlimited Membership are a monthly commitment and have a 15-day cancellation policy. Members must submit a cancellation request to connect@theeverwell.com at least 15 days prior to the renewal date. Monthly memberships will automatically renew every 30 days, unless a cancellation request has been submitted to connect@theeverwell.com at least 15 days prior to the renewal date.

  Please note that all Key Membership accounts are billed on your first day of membership and then on the 1st of the month, unless paying up front annually. Circle Membership accounts are billed every 30 days according to your membership billing date, set on your first day of membership, unless paying up front annually.
